A collection of nine Spanish books in fine bindings published by Espasa-Calpe, Madrid. Measure 7 3/8” tall x 5 3/8” deep. Volumes vary in size - largest measures 1 5/8” wide. When placed together the nine volumes occupy 10” of shelf space. Set includes:
Antonio de Guevara (c. 1481 – 1545) was a Spanish bishop and author. In 1527, he was named royal chronicler to Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor.
