A charming three-piece antique porcelain salt and pepper set featuring a hand-painted coastal scene. Each piece—two tapered shakers and a matching rectangular tray—displays a serene sunset over a harbor, complete with detailed sailboats, a windmill in the distance, and marsh grass in the foreground. The color palette is a soft blend of apricot, lavender, and sage green, finished with delicate hand-dotted "moriage" style black trim along the borders.
The set bears the authentic green "Hand Painted Nippon" wreath mark (Morimura Bros.) on the underside of the tray. This is a quintessential example of early 20th-century Japanese export porcelain, perfect for a collector of Nippon or coastal-themed table service.
