This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are two doors that open to interior wood shelving. One dovetailed drawer sits above for functionality. There is gilt brass trim throughout. The doors and drawers also feature brass hardware pulls and a working lock and key. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
