Nancy Corzine Neoclassical (Louis XVI Revival) Upholstered Armchair with Fluted Frame, Early 21st Century is classically inspired, with a wonderful fluted and carved detailing that makes it visually engaging. This piece is well proportioned and equally compelling from the front and rear. Great piece for reupholstering to fit personal space and use.
* Crafted with a wood frame
* Arms sweep outward in a continuous curve, accentuated by deep channel fluting
* Front tapered legs terminate in understated feet; upper leg blocks adored with carved decorative elementst
* Back rail is broad and gently curved, and back panel is framed by vertical fluting
* Chair rear features decorative wood back with a central carved motif featuring intersecting elements and fan-like detailing
* Chair is upholstered in a textured, check-patterned fabric of ochre, muted gold, and soft taupe and finished with a braided trim along the seat edge
* Seat is generously proportioned with a gently rounded front edge
* Very good vintage condition with visible surface wear consistent with age and use, including light scuffs, small scratches, and minor finish variations along the seat rail and carved elements. A visible crack is present along one section of the front seat rail, and minor nicks and small imperfections are visible at the carved leg blocks and along edges, consistent with age and handling. Upholstery remains intact with no major tears observed; however, there is visible wear and extremely mild discoloration in areas of use. The braided trim shows slight fraying in spots. Overall sound and stable structure.
