19th century Swedish sideboard crafted in pine. This buffet features a newer professionally applied layered black painted finish, lightly distressed to reveal natural wood beneath and enhance the aged character.
Traditional Swedish fluted detailing is present on the three panel doors and along the side column corner accents. Carved floral motifs accent both the top and bottom of the fluted corner details. Egg and dart carving runs along the skirt and the cabinet is raised on fluted tapered feet.
The interior opens to reveal a newer light gray painted finish with shelving.
The cabinet has been restored and is strong and stable, ready for use. Typical age-related scratches and minor cracks are visible and consistent with generations of wear/use.
A single key is included and functions, though the locks operates stiffly; buyer may choose to use the key as a pull only.
