Now in his eighties, the artist chooses to remain unnamed—preferring that the work speak in silence. Over the decades, he carved only for himself. For the ritual. For the stillness. For the shape of feeling. Hand-carved from veined green marble, the figure—stylized, upright, and elemental—echos the human body the artist spent his life healing. The abstracted female form curves upward in a gesture of stillness and strength—its silhouette full and grounded, softened by the stone’s natural striations.
