The frame rises in rectilinear lines, softened by the warmth of its material and the rhythm of the woven pattern. Angular arms extend outward, while the seat and back form a geometric motif, radiating from the center in four directions. Rooted in the rustic modernism of mid-century France, where simplicity, craft, and material honesty converge. Sold and priced individually. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The wood frame has been partially refinished by our team of restorationists, though it still shows surface wear including nicks, scuffs, and minor indentations consistent with age and use. There are natural splits in the wood that do not impact usability. The handwoven rush is intact and taut, with light fraying in areas. Sturdy and structurally sound.
