The frame rises in rectilinear lines, softened by the warmth of its material and the rhythm of the woven pattern. Angular arms extend outward with rush wrapping at the rests, while the seat and back form a geometric motif, radiating from the center in four directions. Rooted in the rustic modernism of mid-century France, the chair embodies the spirit of designers like Charlotte Perriand, where simplicity, craft, and material honesty converge. Sold and priced individually. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The wood frame shows light surface wear and faint scratches consistent with age and use. The handwoven rush is intact and taut, with minor wear primarily along the underside of the seat and areas of natural discoloration. Sturdy and structurally sound.
