A vintage signed portrait painting by Hungarian artist Jeno Gussich. The portrait is entitled "Man In A Red Beret." The portrait is beautifully and realistically rendered in oil on canvas. It is presented in a simple solid wood frame designed for wall hanging or may be displayed on an easel stand. The back of the canvas is marked Guszich B-857. About the artist:
Jeno Gussich was a Hungarian artist born in 1905, it is speculated that he died in the late 1960s. He was educated in Budapest, he studied in Munich, Milan and Rome, with exhibits in Central Europe. He is known for his realistic, moody and expressive oil portraits. His subjects were often bearded men smoking pipes, older men wearing hats or Judaica portraits.
