“Gulls” is a contemporary abstract painting that moves between gesture and suggestion. Light, shifting marks cross the surface, evoking fleeting forms that appear and dissolve within an open ground.
Touches of different blues and white create a sense of air and movement, while the composition remains balanced and spacious.
This work is part of a small group of paintings now being released from the studio archive.
