While it has a lived-in character, it is a highly sophisticated dining piece that is well-suited for a wide array of interior and even eclectic design spaces.

* Richly figured rosewood surface in an oval form with a smooth edge profile and soft corners
* Incorporates two leaves to give it a generous scale, when desired for larger gatherings
* Extension system features metal support rails and a central locking mechanism beneath the table
* Table features a sculptural pedestal base that is gently curved, with splayed feet and vertical fluted detailing along the pedestal
* Extremely good vintage condition with a polished appearance and signs of wear consistent with gentle use and age. Tabletop shows visible wear consistent with use, including areas of finish variation, light surface scratches, and minor scuffs, with localized areas of more concentrated finish wear or discoloration within sections of the grain. Extension mechanism is intact, with metal rails and supports in place; these components show expected signs of use, including surface wear and minor abrasions. Underside exhibits age-appropriate wear, including a small area of finish loss or chipping along the edge of one panel. Base is structurally sound, with light wear along the feet and edges consistent with normal use.
