Crafted in richly … Read more Set of six dining chairs, model 430, designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast Møbler, Denmark, circa 1960. Crafted in richly grained rosewood, these chairs are exemplary of Vodder’s refined and sculptural approach to Danish modern design. The frames feature elegant, clean lines with subtly tapered legs and beautifully shaped backrests, offering both visual lightness and comfort. The craftsmanship is evident in the fine joinery and the warm, expressive rosewood grain throughout. The seats are upholstered in a light-toned leather, providing a pleasing contrast to the darker wood and enhancing the overall sophisticated appearance. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The frames are well preserved with a rich patina and the leather seats show light signs of use but remain in very good condition overall. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
