Antique watercolor portrait of Miss Juliana Willoughby, rendered after the famous work by George Romney. This elegant piece features a young girl in a bonnet, executed with delicate brushwork and soft color tones characteristic of classic watercolor portraiture.
Signed CJW, likely attributed to known artist, CJ Watson
The artwork is housed in a decorative gilt and cream-colored frame featuring ornate floral and vine motifs. The frame measures approximately 10 inches by 8 inches. It includes a double matting with a gold-tone inner border that perfectly complements the subject matter.
Condition: Good antique condition. The frame shows some character wear and minor cracking at the corners consistent with age. There is light foxing visible on the paper consistent with antique watercolors. Please refer to photos for detailed measurements and visual condition.
