The Story:
A striking and substantial statement piece, this vintage Chinese ginger jar stands an impressive 14 inches tall, commanding attention with its vibrant "Imperial Yellow" ground.
The jar is exquisitely hand-painted in the Famille Rose palette, featuring a traditional, lush lotus pond scene.
The artistry showcases blooming lotus flowers in shades of blush and magenta, intricate lily pads, and gracefully rendered aquatic birds.
A decorative ruyi head border encircles both the base and the shoulder, while the domed lid is topped with a sculptural yellow finial.
