Offered for your consideration, A federal period Hepplewhite chest featuring four spacious drawers over a scalloped base with French feet. The predominant hardwood is likely birch with “flame” figured grain on the drawer fronts which also feature inlaid stringing. The brass pulls and escutcheons are high quality vintage reproductions. This piece was acquired from an estate in eastern Massachusetts.
