A highly collectible Middle Eastern jambiya—traditional curved dagger of Yemen—dating to the early 20th century. This ceremonial and symbolic object features a robust double-edged steel blade paired with a sculptural horn handle, richly accented with metal inlay and decorative pins.
The ornate scabbard is crafted from wood and encased in leather and silvered metal plaques, embellished with intricate wirework, beaded detailing, and inset agate stones (some losses consistent with age). The pronounced upturned tip and multi-segmented metal mounts exemplify the distinctive aesthetic of Yemeni craftsmanship.
