Hand-carved from solid wood, the figure depicts a standing female saint in flowing robes, her right hand placed across her chest in a gesture of humility and reverence, while her left gathers the drapery at her side. The composition conveys a quiet, contemplative presence, characteristic of Baroque religious carving.
The large sculpture retains traces of its original polychrome over gesso, with a warm palette of ochre, cream, and muted red tones, now softened through centuries of natural wear.
