Designed in the 1960s by Paolo Marini, this set of two modernist bud vases was produced by the Italian firm Laras in Padova. Each piece is constructed from heavy solid brass, featuring the signature "P. Marini Design" and "LARAS-PD" stamps on the base. Being sold as a set of two (x2). The design elements include a slender, elongated neck transitioning into a weighted, bulbous flat-bottom base, characteristic of Italian "Captain" style silhouettes. Both vases retain an original aged patina with a mottled surface texture, typical of mid-century metalwork from this period. Pieces can be polished. Great vintage condition - no weld issues - minor surface wear commensurate with age. Medium vase has a slight inward bend to botom inside rim - pleas see photos and video. Display ready, rare set.
