It consists of two pieces. The first is an ax with a wood shaft and a flat elongated head wrapped in finely woven rattan sheath with geometrical patterns Size: 25 1/2''L, 20''W. The second one is a digger with a long wood shaft with carved and polychromed decoration and a sharp bone tip. Size: 30” L, 12 ½” W.
Provenance: Ex Collection Emory University 1986.20.235 and 1986.20.11. Each with small paper label as shown.
