The cylindrical body is intricately incised with a continuous landscape scene depicting mountains, pavilions, and natural elements, accompanied by vertical lines of calligraphic inscription, evoking the poetic traditions of the literati class.

The top is sculpted in the form of a coiled serpent, elegantly wrapping upon itself with delicately incised scales, serving as both a symbolic and decorative finial. The stone displays a warm palette of cream, russet, gray, and subtle amber tones, with a soft waxy luster characteristic of fine seal stones.

The underside features carved seal script characters, decorative in nature, reinforcing its form as a scholar’s object.
