Absolutely lovely original antique Gouache painting on paper of a group of horses, titled "Friends," and signed Juan P. Winandy. Dated 11.25.26. The decoration around the border and in the title block is charming. The detail and style of this painting are well done and beautiful. The matte texture of the gouache paints is rich and deep. An excellently preserved piece that is 100 years old! It would be so charming framed in a carved wood frame in a ranch, or even a more modern maple gallery frame in a boy's room.
It does have some wrinkling to the paper, as seen on the last image. This can usually be worked out by a good custom framer and mounting.
Measures: 10-1/4" x 13"
