Stunning original watercolor sketch portrait of a woman in a checkered dress in the foreground, and a window drapery and ladder back chair in the background. Using an almost monochrome palette of blue grays and deep aubergine grays, the artist creates a dynamic portrait in the style of Picasso, Miro, a Matisse sketch, or Françoise Gilot. Signed Moore in the bottom right corner.
Painted on brown kraft style paper, and does have wrinkles as shown in the last image. A framer can usually minimize this with custom framing and mounting.
Measures: 8-1/2" x 11"
