The thick top captures one's attention. Please examine the close-up photos to appreciate the aged patina, joints and old hardware. It has one long vice along the left leg which was a traditional structure.
In the photo of the top, notice holes that served a purpose for the carpenter who originally used it, likely to attach other tools. The top of this table is approximately 12” deep, creating a narrow console with a great deal of visual impact (depth to outer vice is 19.5").
