A Mid-Century black ceramic globe lamp by Tye of California. The lamp features Modernist figures depicting a bullfight on a black glazed ground. The original black wood base and finial are included. The lamp is signed and dated "Tye '52." The lamp is in good condition for its age and use. Dimensions: 25" from base to finial, while the globe is about 11" H X 10" W X 10" D.
Tye of California was a US ceramics manufacturer active from the 1940's to the 1960's. They produced a wide range of ceramic items, including decorative lamps, figurines, and pottery.
