This is an original ceramic Flower Frog Vase in the shape of a very unique Farmhouse-esque style yellow duck created … Read more This is an original ceramic Flower Frog Vase in the shape of a very unique Farmhouse-esque style yellow duck created by Jean Roger Paris. It comes via Paris, France and it was handmade by Jean Roger himself in the late 50s to early 60s; making this one of his most early works. It is signed "Jean Rogers Paris made in France" on the bottom of the sculpture. I have searched high and low to find a matching piece, but have yet to locate anything similar. I believe that this piece was a precursor to the famous collection of Frog planters that are extremely in-demand currently. It appears that this duck was made in very low numbers; that is if it is not a one off prototype piece.

Jean Roger Paris has now been creating beauty for 3 generations, and has been commissioned by the likes of fashion juggernauts, such as Christian Dior and Christian Louboutin, to create amazing masterpieces that have been showcased at their busiest keynote stores. See less
