Rare antique Art Nouveau Duhme & Co sterling silver 925/1000 vanity dresser dish / pin jewelry tray featuring a repoussé floral and gadrooned border with scalloped edges. The center is engraved with a curly script monogram H.
Duhme & Co. was a prominent 19th-century Cincinnati, Ohio-based jeweler and silversmith (active roughly 1843–1896) known as the Tiffany of Cincinnati. Founded by German-born brothers Herman and John H. Duhme, the firm was a leading producer of high-quality sterling silver flatware, holloware, and 14K gold watch cases, often featuring intricate engravings.
