This visually dramatic example features a richly mottled glass body in deep cobalt blue with amethyst and yellow tones, blown into a sculptural wrought iron armature and raised on a hammered bell-shaped foot.

The contrast between the luminous marbled glass and the dark hand-worked iron gives the piece a strong architectural presence, while the saturated color and organic surface make it especially dynamic in changing light. It is an exceptional display piece and a fine example of Schneider’s more unusual mounted glass designs from the Art Deco period.
