Crafted from solid oak, the top is constructed from wide planks showing a well-developed patina, visible grain variation, softened edges, and age-related wear throughout. The surface has a natural depth and warmth, with minor separations and irregularities consistent with age and traditional hand construction. The table has been structurally revised in our workshop to ensure it is solid and stable for daily use. The wood has been carefully cleaned and finished with a hand-applied wax, preserving the original patina and natural tone of the oak. A single central drawer is integrated into the apron and retains its original-style metal pull, with hand-cut dovetail joinery. The base features turned oak legs connected by an H-form stretcher, giving the table a grounded, architectural presence. Pegged mortise-and-tenon joinery is visible at the leg connections, reinforcing its early hand-built construction. Well suited for use as a farm table, kitchen table, or work table, this piece carries a practical, lived-in character that works easily in both traditional and more relaxed interiors.
