Vintage Modernist Portrait with Figure Encircled With Plants, Dated 1954. A lively portrait on board with a figure at the center wearing a low-cut patterned dress. A potted plant to the right, rendered in shades of green, dramatically extends around the sitter, filling the majority of the background space. Signed “Davidson 1954” in black on the lower right. Housed in a minimal dark oak frame, circa early 20th century.
