Being a Kentucky Colonel is the highest civilian honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, making it a significant, respected honorific title. While it carries no legal authority, military rank, or pay, it recognizes notable accomplishments, civic service, and is a lifetime appointment. Famous Colonels: Notable individuals like Colonel Harland Sanders, Muhammad Ali, and various presidents have been commissioned.
This vintage mint julep glass honors the Kentucky Colonels. Measures 3" diameter and 4" high and felt lined on the bottom. It does have a small dent on one side and serious patination inside. Please see photos.
