Contemporary studio art glass orb sculpture by Peter Bramhall, hand-blown with suspended interior “thread” elements in pastel pinks and blues. Estate-sourced example; the underside is signed and dated (2000) per the provided provenance.
A substantial, lens-like form with a clear, high-gloss body that magnifies the internal color trails and creates shifting reflections as light moves across the surface. Ideal as a sculptural centerpiece on a cocktail table, credenza, or bookshelf, where the saturated threads read as floating ribbons within the glass mass.
