Set of two Asian bamboo and woven rattan storage trunks, often used as side tables, nightstands, or decorative floor chests from 70's.
They feature a herringbone or parquet woven pattern made from flat rattan or bamboo, accented by a faux bamboo frame and decorative and thick solid brass hardware.
This style is commonly associated with Mid-Century Modern (MCM), Boho Chic or Chinoiserie decor.
Trunks are different between them: some sides have a different woven pattern. One trunk's hardware is located slightly higher than the other trunk. One lid height is slighlty taller than the other. Wood interiors have different colors.
Both still retain original sticker: Made In Taiwan.
