This was used by pharmacists to store raw botanical and chemical ingredients for compounding medicines. There are eighteen dovetailed drawers made of pine with original glass knobs. The reversed glass labels, also known as eglomise, are text painted on the back of glass to protect the label from chemical wear. The labels use abbreviated Latin to identify the medicinal substances originally stored in each drawer. Good solid condition with a crack on the top right and on the back. The manufacturer and exact date of creation are unknown. The dimensions are 40.25 in. W x 26.25 in. H x 10.5 in. D, drawers 6.25 in. W x 4.75 in. H x 7.75 in. D, 10.75 in. W x 5.75 in. H x 7.75 in.
