The top rail has ornate scroll patterns and the back rest and front stretchers feature slender, turned spindles characteristic of the "Victorian" style. The finish, which may be original, is a rich brown that has ebonized in spots, making their appearance incredibly striking!

The seats on these chairs were originally woven cane, then covered long ago with black leather and antique nail heads. All original seat materials have been removed and Seller has had them expertly restored using a beautiful charcoal gray leather and complimentary nail head trim. They are ready for the next 150 years! See less
