In this watercolor painting, a woman sits in a relaxed, pensive, and slightly provocative pose. It is unclear whether she is thinking, reminiscing, or quietly daydreaming.

The title alludes to the subtle nature of hope and expectation - the promises we make and receive. They can be tender, inspiring, full of possibility, or impossible to fulfill, but they always carry the sweetness of hope.

Through the lightness and transparency of watercolor, I aimed to create a sense of softness and emotional openness. Like many works in my series about women, this painting invites the viewer to pause and reflect on their own thoughts, dreams, and the promises that shape our inner world.
