This rarely seen monumental form is highly reminiscent of similar sculptural Urn forms created in ancient Greece. The ceramic body is comprised of a large robust Trophy-like shape detailed with a fine vertical flutted pattern which is further highlighted by the brilliant flourish details all lathered in a thick Milky White high gloss Porcelain glaze that creates a sophisticated modern sculpture statement. Topped with similar White Porcelain finial that supports the contemporary Cream colored Linen-like shade that casts the ideal ambient glow upon its monumental form. Manufactures "Wilshire House" label still partially intact on socket housing (last pic). Wilshire House was a highly coveted Bevery Hills Interior Design Boutique briefly in vogue during the 60's-70's and has become even more disireable today...you will likely never see this rare relic again! This rare & unique Wilshire house design lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. No apparent signs of damage or blemishes to the Porcelain with only some very light edge wear to the the bottom edge of the anodized Brass-like finish base pedestal. Original wiring and 3-way bulb socket has been inspected and appears to be clean, safe and fully operational. The contemporary Cream colored Linen shade that is shown is a contemporary replacement to match the original and virtually perfect. DIMENSIONS: This substantial lamps general dimensions are 36" tall with a general width of 10" to the base. The fabric shade shown is 16" wide X 12" high - the actual shade received may differ ever so slightly in fabric and details due to suppliers availability. Standard screw in style bulb is NOT included.
