Mid 20th C. Original Cubist Style Print on Board in a Fantastic Hand-Crafted Period Frame.
Print presents themes of fruit, music, wine, in a table top still life scene - in the style of Picasso or others of the era.
Incredible, yet subtle earth tones in bronw, soft pink, hazy blues, greens and grays.
The frame is equally beautiful - thick, deep, with several layers of detailing and a grey/brown/sand finish that has perfect patina.
Together, they are the stuff of mid-century modern legend!
35.75" wide by 25.75" tall by 2.25" deep. A scale to build a room around.

Since "beware of false flattery" is our motto, we can't just make up a story...it came from a country auction in Albemarle County, Virginia - south of Charlottesville. Think Jefferson and Henry, and quiet estate living, and you'll see the spot.
That evening, in that room, we were the only ones who "saw" it...so can you see it, too? The frame alone is a treasure...and in the right room, this is fantastic.
