That's kinda what happened here...

This piece is beautifully executed - colorful but still very crafted, mid-century but more contemporary, and the frame suggests the original owner saw it as very fine art. And it works.

And it could be any major city in the world...we first thought 1970s Chicago, but who knows? Is that the Sears (Hancock) Tower? Hmmm...what do you see?

We discovered it in a very fine 1960s mid-century era home here in Virginia that was filled with natural light and very clean, space-age lines. This was sensational in it. Then, we brought it home to our very traditional farmhouse, and bang - it sings here, too.
