These antique cabinets from Italy are beautifully decorated with accolade carved top fronts, which project outwardly over the case below which is embellished in a series of foliate, gadrooning, and plaques that are carved as if they have movement and rhythm to them. The case houses a pair of drawers that open to reveal storage within. The cabinets are presented upon three cabriole legs, carved with leafy accents. Please note that this is a "nearly matching" pair of cabinets; as they do have slightly differing patterns, though retain the same theme. The original painted finish is primarily a light green color, with some losses as expected with age. This pair of early 20th century Italian small corner cabinets will make a fanciful statement, anchoring a room with their delightful appearance, while providing great storage and display potential!
