Wonderful piece of vintage pottery we believe to have been made in China, first half 20thC. Maker not known.
This appears to be a molded figure of the mythical Qilin or Chinese unicorn. Finely made with a lot of great detail, accented by the grey crackle glaze, with hints of the red clay body peeking through. Sits on a fitted wood stand that we assume was of later manufacture.
Figure alone measure 8"x 3.5"x 5". Has minimal production, glaze and firing variations. No damage. Unmarked, undated.
