Antique 1870s EASTLAKE Victorian Knockdown | Walnut w/ Burl | Wardrobe Armoire
Era: Circa 1870–1880 (Eastlake Movement).
Wood: Solid Walnut with Circassian/Walnut Burl Inlays - high-contrast book-matched burl walnut panels on the doors and the lower drawer.
Architectural crown: Is accented with intricate dentil molding and hand-carved details – the crown can be removed.
Shelves: Are removable.
Joinery: Authentic Pin and Cove joinery (also known as scallop and peg), a hallmark of high-end furniture from 1870-1900.
Assembly: Traditional Wedge & Tenon system. The entire unit is held together by wooden wedges, allowing it to be taken apart and reassembled without modern fasteners.
Security: Includes the original skeleton key, and the lock is fully functional.
