An amazing mid century abstract painting attributed to Canadian artist James Gordaneer.
The twisted abstract figures create a vibrant composition. We titled the artwork The Shoe.
Do you see the shoe in the lower right corner?

Painted on thick paper. The painting was purchased unframed. We framed the piece behind a mat and installed it behind glass in a vintage wood gold leaf frame.

The artwork does not appeared to be signed.
There is a stamp on verso indicating the artwork was part of a woman's larger art collection which was disbursed in her estate. The original stamp is now framed and not visible to the eye.

Minor surface wear to the frame with a few tiny chips.
The painting is in very good condition and under an acid free mat.
