A monumental 16-light mid-century modern brass chandelier featuring sweeping curved arms ending in conical trumpet shades.
Designed by the celebrated Italian lighting designer Oscar Torlasco for Lumi in Milan during the 1950s. Torlasco was a master of optical glass and intricate brass work, winning the Compasso d'Oro in 1959. This specific model is iconic for its 'spider' or 'octopus' silhouette that captures the industrial elegance of the Italian neo-liberty and mid-century modern movements.
