Solid wood - well built.
Actual year unknown - presumed to be late 1980s based on owner's memory and pictures. Pennsylvania House, Virginia House, Ethan Allen or Thomasville probable - in line with that quality and purchased at the same time as the owner purchased exclusively from those brands. The swivel hardware on the bottom of the stool covers any manufacturer labels.
