The top surface is simply constructed in four … Read more A beautiful, solid walnut enfilade from the 19th century, Louis Philippe period. The top surface is simply constructed in four pieces to frame a wide central plank and narrow boards on three sides to highlight the variety of natural grain. Within the frieze sit three, equally spaced drawers opened by brass knobs. Below, three paneled doors follow the proportions and spacing as the drawers, opening to a divided cabinet. The left door hooks onto the interior shelf (16 5/8" deep) opening in tandem with the middle door that contains a working lock. The third door encloses a smaller cabinet with one shelf. Stepped, block feet are the finishing touch to elevate the timeless design. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique enfilade is ready for your home.
