Rare vintage fine art poster of Gustav Klimt’s most favorite artwork - “Der Kuss — Il Bacio” paired with a stunning hand carved frame. The poster was printed and published in Italy by Top Art, Milano dated 1995. It features hand applied gold leaf foil and is protected under plexiglass.
We have matched this lovely poster with a late 20th century frame that has stylized botanical motifs, blending Arts & Crafts craftsmanship with Art Nouveau–influenced design. The hand-carved relief solid wood frame is adorned with a repeating “teardrop / seed / leaf” pattern and has a warm hand-toned bronze/gold patina reminiscent of frames from the 1920s.
