Vintage original Painting on Linen by New Mexican Muralist (dec.) Ken Barrick, Chair of Art Department at the University of New Mexico. Purchased in the 1990ies form Lundeen Inn of the Arts in Las Cruces.
A painter of murals in New Mexico, Ken Barrack painted on a grand scale. His paintings depicted the vanishing West, the lives of the cowboy, and the Indian tribes. His subjects reach out from the cavas and interact with the viewer. Note the staring eyes of the Plain's Woman trekking her worldly goods.
