A handmade Italian pill or snuff box from the 1970s/1980s, crafted in Continental Silver and hallmarked 800 which stands for Continental Silver 800/000, along with the Italian Silversmith Code.
Made in Florence in Tuscany by Brandimarte, one of the most respected Florentine silversmiths, this large hammered box features a wheat of corn motif, a traditional symbol of prosperity and good fortune. It closes well and is perfectly usable.
A collectible piece suitable for use or display.
