1930s antique mixed metal champagne or wine cooler. Urn-form, with two handles and base decorated in grape themed castings. It retains its original fitted collar, with applied cast hanging grapevines. The body and collar are silverplate with the castings in a white metal.
Marked on the bottom with a Pineapple and the initials DH. The pineapple mark is most closely associated with Barker Ellis, but this pineapple is slightly different from theirs.
Overall height is 13 inches, and weighs almost 10 pounds.
