A wonderfully fun picnic basket in a reddish-brown stain. Very usable for a lovely picnic or for decorative storage. The handles are bent wood. The inside of the top has an area to store utensils.

This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Martha Stewart, and Schumacher, among many others.
